We just got confirmation (click here) of our total time from DEE @ MAGGIES and we finished a very respectable 115th out of a field of more than 600! Our time was 17 hours and 52 minutes. We know it was not a race, but boys will be boys! Mind you, there were some super fit folk who were sitting down to watch the telly after just 10 hours!! I remember these guys running past us, aye running, couldn't believe it at the time considering we thought we were going at a great pace!! One thing they will have missed, going at that speed, was the lovely views, especially of the lassie in the lycra one piece. I think that was what kept us goin', lol. The official photographer didn't miss her tho' (click here) photos 0161, 0162, 0163 and 0164. He must have been trying out his new lenses!
